I wanted Halloween decor that felt festive without being bloody or scary. The crescent moon, cat and pumpkin combination is perfect. It looks especially nice next to my orange mums.
Setup took only a couple of minutes. I pushed the stake into the flower bed and positioned the solar panel toward the sun. It turned on by itself that evening with no cords to hide.
I like that it is not only pretty when the lights are on. The black cat, stars and little bats are easy to see in daylight, so it still works as a garden decoration all afternoon.
The pumpkin lantern is now my children's favorite part of our front-yard decorations. They wait for it to come on when it starts getting dark. It adds Halloween fun without being frightening.
The light is softer than a regular pathway lamp, which is what I expected from a decoration. It does not light the whole yard, but it creates a very pretty orange glow around the pumpkin.
I put mine between two pots of mums near the porch steps. The orange light matches the flowers and pumpkins perfectly. Several neighbors have already asked where I found it.
The first one looked so nice beside the walkway that I ordered another for the opposite side. Using two makes the entrance look much more balanced and complete after sunset.
I bought this for my sister because she loves black cats and decorates for Halloween every year. She placed it near her front steps immediately and said it was one of her favorite seasonal gifts.
